Privacy

Kemeys Brothers Management Ltd is a Ray White franchisee, based at 337 Jackson Street, Petone. Ray White’s privacy policy covers us as a franchisee. This page explains the parts that matter most for this website.

What we collect

• What you send us. When you ask for a rental appraisal, send a message or report maintenance, we receive what you type in: your name, contact details, property details and your message.
• Maintenance requests are made through Tapi, the maintenance service we use. Tapi receives what you enter so we can arrange repairs.
• How the site is used. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, how people find the site, and whether they send an enquiry or tap a phone number, so we can improve it. It uses cookies and tells us things like the pages viewed, the type of device and the rough area (a city, not an address). It doesn’t tell us who you are. Google processes this for us and may store it outside New Zealand. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or by blocking cookies.
• The Shielded Site. The round icon at the bottom of every page opens the Shielded Site, a discreet way to get help with family violence. It is run by Women’s Refuge, not us. We don’t record whether it is opened or anything done in it.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to you, to provide our property management services, and to meet our obligations under tenancy law. We don’t sell it.

Who we share it with

Only the people and services who need it to do the job: our team, the systems we run our business on, tradespeople fixing something at your property, and Tenancy Services or the Tenancy Tribunal where the law requires it.

Seeing and correcting your information

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Contact our privacy officer, Elliot Kemeys, at elliot.kemeys@raywhite.com, or write to us at 337 Jackson Street, Petone, Lower Hutt 5012.
